Finn H Drude

 

Finn H Drude (31) is an award-winning filmmaker and video editor, based in the Lake District.

​

After growing up in Germany, he moved to the UK in September 2010, to start his BA in "Film & Television Production".

 

After completing his degree in June 2013, Finn went on to work on both TV and Film production of smaller and larger scale. Most notably, he worked on "Swallows & Amazons" (2016) and the seventh instalment of the hugely successful Star Wars saga "The Force Awakens" (2015).

 

For his work on the short film "Funkenflug - Chronicles of a Catastrophe" (2015) Finn won several prizes including Awards for Best Editing at the International Short Film Awards in New York, as well as an RTS Award.

In 2017, Finn decided to return to education and started a Masters Degree in "Creative Practice" with specialism in Post-Production work.

​

Several pieces produced as part of the degree were widely praised for their creative innovation, including abstract visual piece "KALEIDOSCOPE" (2018) and interactive visual experience "ARBITRIUM" (2019).

Finn is currently based in the Lake District, where he works as a freelance editor and visual effects artist.
